Brevard Fire Units Extinguish Detached Garage Blaze On Pine Street in Canaveral Groves

BREVARD COUNTY • CANAVERAL GROVES, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue, Four Communities Volunteer Fire Department air unit and Cocoa fire units responded to a detached garage fire at the corner of Pine Street and Areca Palm Street in Canaveral Groves.

The fire, which broke out about 4:40 p.m. Sunday at 4955 Pine Street, was quickly knocked down by Engine 29, however, there was an extensive overhaul.

Brevard County Fire Rescue officials reported there were no injuries and the cause of the fire will be determined by investigators on the scene.

“Engine 26 and Engine 29’s Sutphen Corporation pumpers have been getting a workout the past couple days,” said Brevard County Fire Rescue officials.
