Eastern Florida State’s Zack Kornick, Skye Williams Receive Orlando Health Student-Athletes of the Week

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A couple of big performances lead to Zack Kornick and Skye Williams being named Orlando Health Student-Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Feb. 2.

Sophomore Skye Williams averaged 25 points and seven rebounds to help the women’s basketball team to two Suncoast Conference victories. The Indianapolis, Indiana native is averaging 15 points and five rebounds per game this season but is averaging 20 points per game in conference games.

Freshman Zack Kornick picked up two wins and a save for the baseball team. The Satellite Beach native pitched five shutout innings, striking out four and walking two without allowing a hit in three games.

The women’s basketball team travels to Florida Southwestern for a Suncoast Conference game Wednesday night while the baseball team is at Seminole State College Tuesday night.
