EFSC Titans Baseball Team Defeated By Miami-Dade 2-1 After Classic Pitching Duel

Miami Dade scored winning run in bottom of the 9th
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College baseball team opened the Southern Conference season with a classic pitching duel.
Titans starter Jackson Woodward had another stellar outing, allowing one unearned run over eight innings in a 2-1 loss Wednesday afternoon.
Jeff Richardson doubled and scored on AJ Mathis’ RBI single for the lone Titans run.
Tied 1-1 after eight innings, Miami Dade scored the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the No. 19-ranked Sharks the win.
