The Melbourne Police Department recently held its 12th Annual Awards Ceremony at the Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront. During the festivities, MPD announced that the Communication Officer of the Year was presented to Supervisor Cary Sargent; Officer of the Year went to Sergeant Ian Mitchell; and Employee of the Year to Administrative Assistant Karen Shelley. BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department recently held its 12th Annual Awards Ceremony at the Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront.

During the festivities, MPD announced that the Communication Officer of the Year was presented to Supervisor Cary Sargent; Officer of the Year went to Sergeant Ian Mitchell; and Employee of the Year to Administrative Assistant Karen Shelley.
