Florida Tech Men’s Golf Named All-Academic Team by Golf Coaches Association of America

Panthers receive All-Academic honors for fourth consecutive year

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech golf has been named an All-Academic Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). 

This marks the fourth consecutive season the Panthers have earned the distinction.

Tech joins 41 other NCAA Division institutions in collecting GCAA All-Academic Team honors, which is received by teams who maintain a GPA above 3.0 for the 2019-20 school year.

Florida Tech posted a team GPA of 3.40 in 2019-20.

The Panthers placed 14 players on the SSC Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll and had three student-athletes, Sam Avey, Kyle Decenzo, and Evan Thompson, named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars by the GCAA.
