Launch window opens at 9 a.m. ET

ABOVE VIDEO: SpaceX is targeting Saturday, December 19 for launch of the NROL-108 mission, which will launch from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – SpaceX is scheduled launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center on Saturday after the launch team decided to halt Friday’s attempt to allow additional time for checkouts.

The launch team is working towards a launch for tomorrow with a three-hour launch window that will open at 9 a.m. ET.

The payload is designated for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office and remains classified.

The first stage booster is expected to attempt a return to launch site landing at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
