BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Space Coast CityFest is set to take over Space Coast Daily Park March 6-7 in Viera, Florida,  as promoters announced that the festival’s exciting concert headliners will include Casting Crowns, Mac Powell, Mandisa, Andy Mineo, Zach Williams and Social Club Misfits.

Also, the high-energy, positive, and fun experience of Kidz Blitz Live is coming to Space Coast CityFest featuring entertaining and exciting activities for both kids and parents.

“Space Coast CityFest is a region-wide evangelistic campaign focused on serving the region and proclaiming the Good News,” said Festival Director Randy Burtis.

This event is completely free because more than 200 Brevard County churches have made this festival possible.

“This will be a fun-filled day of music, action sports, activities for kids, and multiple opportunities for individuals to hear a powerful message of hope in Jesus Christ. Bring your family and friends,” said Burtis.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

■ 4 p.m. | Family Fun Stage Program
■ 5 p.m. | Action Sports Demo
■ 6 p.m. | Main Stage Program begins:
■ Saturday, March 6: Social Club Misfits, Mandisa, Andrew Palau & Casting Crowns
n Sunday, March 7: Mac Powell, Andy Mineo, Andrew Palau, & Zach Williams

“We know you’ve been praying for some of your friends and family leading up to the festival,” said Burtis. “Make sure to invite the people you’ve been praying for to attend with you!”

There are still promotional materials available – pick up the ticket/invitation pieces and yard signs at the CityFest office located at 319 RiverEdge Boulevard, Suite 214 in Cocoa, at Love Inc./Village Thrift located at 320 N. Apollo Boulevard in Melbourne, or at The Grove Church at 1450 Harrison Street in Titusville.

VOLUNTEER HERE WITH SPACE COAST CITYFEST

Calling all First Responders. The Brevard churches and Space Coast CityFest would like to personally invite First Responders across the County to a breakfast honoring you.

The date is March 1 at 8:30 a.m. at the Valiant Command Warbird Museum in Titusville. Whether you are Command Staff or on the ground First Responders, please join others from law enforcement, fire, EMT, and other departments, in Brevard County, under the spectacular display of vintage planes and aviation wonders. Guest speaker Mark Mynheir will share his personal story, followed by a message of hope from evangelist Andrew Palau.

Momentum is building for the two-day family festival as Brevard County churches and ministries have united to share hope and love with Andrew Palau.

This campaign will share the message of Jesus with thousands of attendees through the love and service of the CityServe campaign and the massive evangelistic festival.

“For years pastors and community leaders in Brevard County have been praying about a unified effort to serve the community and proclaim the Good News to the masses,” said Burtis.

“It came about as a result of years of prayer and planning by hundreds of leaders in Brevard County and the surrounding area.

“The vision is to see the Christian community come together at Space Coast Daily Park in Viera, in greater unity, service, and proclamation – showing the community-at-large the joy, peace, and love of Jesus Christ,” said Burtis.

Space Coast City Fest organizers are seeking volunteers and you can attend a live training event or you can complete the training right now online HERE.

ABOUT SPACE COAST DAILY PARK

Space Coast Daily Park in Viera, Florida, was officially opened with a Ribbon Cutting event conducted by the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce on November 10, 2017.

Space Coast Daily Park is a 30-acre outdoor event and entertainment venue located at 6091 Stadium Parkway in Viera, next to Viera High School and across the street from Space Coast Stadium.

Among the park’s amenities are 1,500 parking spaces and large event space, suitable for a wide variety of outdoor activities.

“We are proud to be able to provide Brevard with quality family entertainment at the new Space Coast Daily Park,” said Giles Malone, Partner with Space Coast Daily.

“This would not have been possible without the Viera Company and the forward-thinking leadership of the Brevard Public Schools Board members and its administration.”

Space Coast Daily Park recently hosted the Space Coast State Fair, East Central Florida’s largest and most popular annual family event.

“This is a terrific example of how a public-private enterprise can be created for the benefit of our community,” said Space Coast Daily President and Publisher Tom Palermo.

“It is our goal to bring world-class entertainment to Viera as it is an ideal community and location to showcase all that Brevard has to offer.”
