BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Tuesday, March 2.
Launch is targeted for 7:53 p.m. ET.
The 45th Weather Squadron weather report shows conditions are 40-percent favorable for Tuesday’s rocket launch. The primary concern for conditions to violate launch requirements is the cumulus cloud rule and Surface Electric Field Rule.
The launch will be the 20th batch of approximately 60 satellites for SpaceX’s Starlink broadband network.
The mission is designated as Starlink V1.0-L17.
Following first stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the booster engine on drone ship ‘Of Course, I Still Love You’ stationed in the Atlantic ocean.
