Eastern Florida State Baseball Team Loses Series Opener 8-2 Against Indian River State College

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College baseball team lost to Indian River State College in a Southern Conference game Wednesday afternoon.

The Titans lost Game 1 of the three-game series 8-2 at Indian River. The two teams will meet Friday night at Bruce Bochy Field for the second game at 6 p.m.

The Titans got on the board in the top of the first inning when Lake Fisher hit an RBI double that scored Kaeber Rog.

But the Pioneers would score five times in the third inning and finished with 14 hits to improve to 3-1 in the conference.

The Titans scored again in the seventh inning as Tyler Isenberg drove in a run with a single.

Eastern Florida State College, 0-4 in the conference, will look to tie the series on Friday night at Bruce Bochy Field beginning at 6 p.m. Admission is free and Titans athletics asks that you social distance and wear a mask when around other fans.
