POLICE: silver Mustang associated with Philippe Desir missing person case in 2009

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police investigators discovered a vehicle with skeletal remains on Thursday submerged in a retention pond in a subdivision in Bayside Lakes in the 1600 block of Sawgrass Drive.
According to Palm Bay Police Lt. Jeff Spears, members of the Underwater Recovery Team were able to remove the vehicle where investigators located the skeletal remains.
Lt. Spears said the vehicle, a silver Ford Mustang, is associated with a missing person case in 2009.
“The missing person was Philippe Desir, who was 38 years old,” said Lt. Spears. “There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his disappearance at that time.”
The remains have yet to be identified and were turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
