Brevard Public Schools has announced the appointment of three educators to new assistant principal roles, expanding leadership teams at elementary and high school campuses across the district.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Public Schools has announced the appointment of three educators to new assistant principal roles, expanding leadership teams at elementary and high school campuses across the district.

At Mila Elementary School, Cynthia Dawson has been named assistant principal. District officials noted Dawson’s experience and commitment to student success as key assets she brings to the school’s leadership team.

Saturn Elementary School also welcomed a new assistant principal with the appointment of Megan Smith. Smith steps into the role following years of service focused on supporting students and staff, and she is expected to continue strengthening the school’s academic and school culture initiatives.

At the secondary level, Viera High School announced Vivian Perez Jones as its new assistant principal. Perez Jones brings leadership experience and a student-centered approach that district leaders say will positively impact the Viera High community.

District administrators said they are proud to recognize the newly appointed leaders and look forward to the contributions they will make in their new roles as the school year continues.
