WATCH: The Great Florida Air Show is underway and the Friday Night Locker Room’s Orville Susong and Steve Wilson are at the Orlando Melbourne International Airport to bring you all the action – including the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will headline “The Great Florida Air Show” at Orlando Melbourne International Airport set for Saturday and Sunday.

“We are thrilled that the U.S. Navy Blue Angels have added Orlando Melbourne International Airport to their 2021 schedule,” said MLB Executive Director Greg Donovan.

Other scheduled premier performers include the United States Special Operations Command Parachute Team; Official U.S. Air Force F-16 Viper Demonstration Team; U.S. National Aerobatic champions Mike Wiskus of Lucas Oil Air Shows, nine-time consecutive winner Rob Holland, and Mike Goulian (Red Bull Air Races Champion); Larry Labriola, piloting the Aero L-39 Albatros; Gregory “Wired” Colyer flying warbird Ace Maker T-33; and Scott “Scooter” Yoak in his World War II-era QuickSilver P-51.

The Air Show Network is a leader in the industry and has been involved in over 1,000 air shows in 37 years. A few other air shows they produce include Nashville, San Francisco, Cape Cod, Denver and New Hampshire.

The Great Florida Air Show has donated 1,000 tickets to be distributed through Health First to Heroes in various roles from patient care, administrative, custodial services and beyond. The Air Show Network and The Orlando Melbourne International Airport are proud to sponsor these tickets.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE

■ 8 a.m. – Gates open. Static displays, vendors and exhibits open.
■ 5 p.m. – Show ends.

Schedules for specific performances will not be released in advance. Performance times can change without notice. Aircraft appearing are subject to change due to many reasons beyond our control, including but not limited to, maintenance, weather, or other circumstances.

PARKING

■ General parking is free.
■ Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.
■ Please plan to arrive early to ensure a good parking spot.
■ Handicap parking is available.
■ Please have your state-issued placard or hangtag with you so that parking attendants can direct you to the appropriate parking area.
■ Upgraded Parking Passes can be purchased in advance on the TICKETS page.

NOTE: Air shows are large events, so please be aware that traffic may be heavy getting in and out from the show parking areas.

How to Get to and Where To Park in Melbourne for the Great Florida Air Show

Air Show Pro Tip: Arrive Early – Before 9 a.m.

The Great Florida Air Show gates open at 8 am. To make sure you have a leisurely morning and time to park, find your seats, and experience all the incredible ground displays you’ll want to arrive as early as possible.

General Admission Parking for the Great Florida Air Show Map

New this year, general parking for air show attendees is FREE on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking attendants will be on-site directing traffic to designated parking areas. Upgraded parking passes are also available for purchase. See these ticketing options to learn more. Whichever parking option is best for you, we recommend arriving early before 9 a.m.

Several roads and intersections around the Orlando Melbourne International Airport are under construction. Babcock Road, most notably, has been reduced to two lanes. Please drive with caution and patience as you arrive at and leave The Great Florida Air Show.

Please follow signs for the air show. Traffic may be routed certain ways to accommodate the large volume of air show visitors and/or due to road closures.
