Brevard Parks and Recreation to host 4th Annual ‘Great Pumpkin Rescue’ at McLarty Aquatic Center on Oct. 9

Ages 4-15 years old are invited to participate

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Parks and Recreation, Central Area, will host its Fourth Annual Great Pumpkin Rescue on October 9 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the McLarty Park Aquatic Center in Rockledge.
Participants will be given a number that corresponds to a floating pumpkin in the pool. They will search for their number to rescue their pumpkin.
Once a pumpkin has been rescued, participants will be able to decorate their pumpkins. A pumpkin decorating contest will be held, and prizes awarded for each age group.
There will be pumpkin rescuing, swimming, a pumpkin decorating contest and treat bags.
Pre-registration is required for this family event as space is limited, no on-site registration will be available. Ages 4-15 years old are invited to participate in the rescue and decorating contest.
The cost is $5 for participants and $2 for all other swimmers.
