BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Cape Canaveral Lighthouse is 153 years old and will be celebrated with a special evening on October 23 at the American Muscle Car Museum, a 123,000-square-foot complex that houses a collection of more than 300 cars.
The American Muscle Car Museum is at 3500 Sarno Road, on the west side of Wickham Road in Melbourne.
For more information about the event or about the lighthouse, call 321-351-5052 or visit Canaverallight.org.
This Save Our History event, which will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m., is the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse Foundation’s most important fundraiser of the year.
This is an opportunity to see an extensive collection of cars – classic 1950s to 1970s American Muscle Cars, more than 50 Indianapolis pace cars and trucks, Shelby’s, Porsches, Yenkos and much more.
“We are excited to be at the American Muscle Car Museum again,” said Larry Ostarly, president of the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse Foundation.
“It is an opportunity to see this unique selection of cars while supporting the foundation. Please come out for the auction and raffles, to share food, drinks, and good times.”
The museum complex is not open to the public and this is one of the few times that general audiences can see Mark Pieloch’s great private collection. Even those who are not car fans will marvel at this selection.
Tickets to the event are $100 and are available at Eventbright.com or at cclighthousefoundation@gmail.com. For more information about the event or about the lighthouse, call 321-351-5052 or visit Canaverallight.org
