Brevard County Health Department to Offer Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccinations Beginning Nov. 15

Available for children ages 5 -11, Parents or guardians must accompany the child

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Florida Department of Health-Brevard will begin offering the Centers for Disease Control-approved Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines to children ages 5 to 11 beginning Monday at its Viera clinic located at 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way.

Previously, Pfizer vaccines had been approved for minors starting at age 12. Pfizer COVID-19 for those ages 5 and up will also be available at many health care clinics and pharmacy locations in Brevard.

Parents or guardians must accompany the child. The vaccine will be available on a walk-in basis through FDOH-Brevard per the following schedule:

■ Viera Clinic, 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, FL 32940: Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
■ Melbourne Clinic, 601 East University Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32901: Fridays only from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
■ Titusville Clinic, 611 N. Singleton Avenue, Titusville, FL 32796: Fridays only from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
