NO-GO: SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Launch Scrubbed Today at Cape Canaveral Due to Weather

ABOVE VIDEO: SpaceX is ready to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Saturday.
BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX has rescheduled Saturday’s Falcon 9 launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station to Sunday, January 30.
The SpaceX launch team decided to halt the launch on Saturday due to unfavorable weather impacting the pre-launch activities.
The launch is now targeted for Sunday at 6:11 p.m. ET.
Weather conditions are 70-percent favorable for Sunday’s rocket launch with the primary concern being the Cumulus Cloud Rule and heavy cloud cover near launch.
The rocket will carry the second COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation, or CSG 2, radar surveillance satellite for ASI, the Italian space agency.
Following first-stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the booster engine on a drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
