Linda was a loving housewife and caregiver to many including her late husband

Linda J. Dean, formerly known as Linda J. Morrison, age 78, sadly passed away on February 4, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. at her home in Mims.

BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA – Linda J. Dean, formerly known as Linda J. Morrison, age 78, sadly passed away on February 4, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. at her home in Mims.

Linda graduated from Milton High School in Alpharetta, GA, and attended Young Harrison University, Ga for education. Her professional career was banking for over 30 years prior to her retirement.

In her later years, she was a loving housewife and caregiver to many including her late husband. She enjoyed attending and volunteering at Temple Baptist Church to which she gave so much in body, spirit, and praise.

She married her current husband who became her caregiver through the past two years of her life. Predeceased by her parents Orbrie W. Joyner, Sr., and Betsy Barron; brother Richard Joyner; sisters Susan Joyner and Judy Rimer.

Survivors include her husband Kenny Dean; sons David and Aaron Hopkins; daughter Diana Swain; brother Bud Joyner; 3 stepsons Matthew Morrison, Scott Morrison, Michael Dean; stepdaughter Mindy Dean; 6 grandchildren Craig Hopkins, Dustin Hopkins, Tiffani Lynn, Jasmine Rebel, Mikey Dean, Matthew Dean; 5 great-grandchildren Damian Slavens, Ryen Vaughan, Dakota Hopkins, and Kendra Morgan.

Visitation will be at Temple Baptist Church in Titusville on Saturday, February 12, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. with a service to follow at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Temple Baptist Church
