BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Is your child a little bit of a history buff? Would they like to learn a new hobby?

Then consider enrolling them in Brevard County 4-H this spring break as we jump into the tabletop miniature game, Flames of War, to learn about history!

History Through Wargaming is a week-long camp perfect for children ages 12-18 years old. During this camp, they will learn how to build, paint, and play a miniature tabletop game.

Materials such as terrain, models, and rules will be provided. Each camper will receive one model to learn building and painting techniques and will be able to take it home after the camp ends.

This camp will be held at the UF/IFAS Extension office in Cocoa every day between March 14 and March 18 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets for this camp are $25, advance registration is required. Ticket sales end March 7 at 9 p.m.

If you are not a current 4-H member, you will need to enroll in Brevard County 4-H prior to attending camp. Instructions on how to enroll will be provided.
