SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Launch Carrying Starlink Mission Set for Wednesday Morning from Cape Canaveral

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is targeting Wednesday, March 9 for a Falcon 9 launch of 48 Starlink satellites to low Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
Launch is targeted for 9:25 a.m. ET.
SpaceX’s Starlink is the constellation of networked satellites aimed to provide internet services to those who are not yet connected, and to provide reliable and affordable internet across the globe.
The 45th Weather Squadron’s latest weather report shows conditions are 90-percent favorable for the launch on Wednesday.
The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will land on the drone ship “A Shortfall of Gravitas” in the Atlantic Ocean.
