59-Year-Old Malabar Woman Dies After Collision on US-1 and Valkaria Road, One Injured

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A 59-year-old woman from Malabar has died after a fatal crash on US-1 and Valkaria Road on Wednesday.
According to the investigation, the 59-year-old woman attempted to make a left turn from Valkaria Road to travel northbound on US-1 and was struck by another vehicle driven by a 39-year-old woman from Sebastian.
State troopers say the 59-year-old woman drove into the direct path of the other vehicle and died at the scene after the crash.
The 39-year-old woman from Sebastian suffered minor injuries.
The crash happened around 8 a.m.
