Former Rockledge Raider and Florida State Seminole running back Jashaun Corbin signed an undrafted free agency contract on Saturday with the New York Giants.

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Former Rockledge Raider and Florida State Seminole running back Jashaun Corbin signed an undrafted free agency contract on Saturday with the New York Giants.

Corbin made the announcement after the 2022 NFL Draft came to close on Saturday.

“Undrafted route… Never wanted it to be easy but it’ll be worth… Thank you New York Giants for the opportunity. You WILL NOT REGRET IT”

Corbin was not drafted in a somewhat surprising development after having a breakout season with Florida State in 2021 when he rushed for a career-high 887 yards and 7 touchdowns last year.

Corbin’s 6.2 yards per carry average was also second in the ACC, only behind teammate Treshaun Ward.

He also had four 100-yard rushing games – against Notre Dame (144), Jacksonville State (109), Louisville (159) and UMass (127).

Jashaun Corbin graduated from Rockledge High School as a 4-star recruit and finished his senior season with over 1,000 yards rushing and 18 total touchdowns.
