BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – A Tampa man has been arrested for a vacation rental scam in Cocoa Beach, according to Cocoa Beach Police.

George Henry, 62, of Tampa, was recently taken into custody for allegedly scamming an individual into paying for a fraudulently advertised vacation rental in Cocoa Beach back in July of 2021.

The victim booked what was believed to be a vacation rental in Cocoa Beach through a popular online real estate marketplace and sent thousands of dollars to Henry, only to learn upon arrival that the property was not for rent.
