BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The City of Palm Bay is seeking public input on updates to the Comprehensive Plan.
As part of the Palm Bay Comprehensive Plan Update, the City will be hosting two public workshops intended to discuss the purpose of the comprehensive plan, identify why the update process is important, and provide a platform for members of the community to identify what they would like to see within the Plan’s contents.
The dates of the workshops are as follows:
■ Workshop #1: Introduction to Comprehensive Plan Update – August 25th
■ Workshop #2: Present Plan – November 10th
The public workshops will be held in Palm Bay City Council Chambers, located at 120 Malabar Road SE, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
For those unable to attend the meeting in person, the workshops will also be available online, and residents will have the opportunity to interact virtually.
Individuals interested in attending virtually may log in at 6:00 p.m. at tinyurl.com/PalmBayPlanUpdate.
Residents and stakeholders who are unable to attend the public meeting in-person or virtual, but wish to provide input, may participate using one of the online tools located on the Palm Bay Vision Comprehensive Plan webpage at www.pbfl.org/vision.
Residents and community stakeholders are invited to visit the webpage to participate in an interactive map tool and prioritization exercise.
The Comprehensive Plan is a long-range plan that will guide the City’s future actions through clearly stated goals, objectives, and policies. These policies inform local decision-making and set the tone for future growth and development in the community.
