BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This past week, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Crimeline, the BCSO Public Safety Charity, and Brevard Public Schools all partnered together to bring Marc Mero and his “Champion of Choices” tour to eight of our local high schools and also a presentation to Brevard County’s First Responders.

Marc is a former WWE Professional Wrestler turned inspirational speaker who shares his life’s journey with students across the country, focusing on the choices we make in our everyday lives, the value of relationships, and the true meaning of success.

Marc’s story of failures and successes is living proof of just how quickly things can spin out of control. From choosing to hang out with the wrong people, to substance abuse, to finding success, and then facing self-induced failures and challenges that led to depression and even thoughts of suicide, Marc’s one-of-a-kind story speaks directly to his audience and connects in life-changing ways.

Marc’s message is not only inspirational but also compelling to help students and adults make the right decisions while also understanding that they are not alone in how they feel and how they sometimes hurt.

Speaking about his own experiences in life and how if you believe you can change and make the right decisions, there is nothing you can’t overcome and achieve!!
I cannot thank Marc Mero and his team enough for sharing this incredible message to over 6,000 high school students in Brevard Public Schools this past week and also for his amazing presentation to our First Responders.

I also want to thank Marc for taking the time to talk to hundreds of students after his presentations about their challenges and for the countless hours he spends responding to messages on social media as well, as he offers guidance and resources to students who are often dealing with substance abuse, depression, and even those considering suicide.

I was truly honored to attend almost every presentation that Marc and his team did this past week in our schools, as I personally observed the connection he made with our students and First Responders.

As Marc often tells those in his audience, “No one should ever feel like they are going through tough times alone and that they can’t recover from bad choices they have made in their lives!”

Marc’s true life story and presentation are one of the most inspirational messages I have ever had the chance to hear, and I am convinced that each and every day, he is changing lives with his message.
