The Space Coast Home Builders and Contractors Association is home to more than 320 member companies, generating an annual economic impact of nearly $500 million and employing an estimated 4,000 professionals.
“This year’s parade highlights some of the Space Coast’s top builders and offers a wide variety of options across several price points,” said John Thomas, CEO of the Space Coast Home Builders and Realtors Association.
With 18 communities throughout Brevard represented in this year’s parade, buyers can choose the location that best suits their needs.
The real estate market may be cooling down, but you wouldn’t know it if you are in Brevard, where home building and buying remain sizzling.
“Though the residential real estate market is adjusting across the country, the Space Coast remains one of the best places to buy a new home anywhere in the United States,” added Thomas.

In fact, this Parade of Homes is larger than its predecessor, with 26 entries that feature 24 home models, plus a Showcase Community and the Showroom at Refined Interiors in Suntree/Viera.
Homes range in price from $325,990 for Holiday Builders’ Sylvester model in Palm Bay to the $3,495,000 Andros that Christopher Burton Luxury Homes created in Viera’s exclusive Adelaide community.
Holiday Builders’ Sylvester floorplan ensures the ease of single-story living, with four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a generous three-car garage in 1,806 square feet.
The split plan provides a welcoming master with plenty of privacy from the other three bedrooms. Additionally, the open concept kitchen and living and dining areas are perfect for family gatherings. The kitchen allows plenty of space with 30” upper cabinets and clean-up is easy with a stainless-steel Energy Star insulated dishwasher.
Each home also comes with a stainless steel electric smooth top range, accompanied by a stainless-steel microwave complete with a ductless vent hood, light and fan.

Christopher Burton’s Andros is enviably situated in stunning Adelaide, a 460-acre gated community of custom single-family homes on oversized homesites ringing Viera’s beautiful Lake Adelaide, with elevated lifestyle amenities only moments away. The company operates under the philosophy that a home should make every day feel like a vacation, and the Andros certainly accomplishes that goal.
The Andros features four bedrooms, four full and two half baths with 4,850 square feet and a three-car garage. The expansive game room includes a raised media lounge and a wet bar, making it an entertaining showpiece.
Homes start in the lower end of the $300,00s at Showcase Community Crystal Bay at the southern end of the county. Builder D.R. Horton offers single-family homes from 1,672 to 2,601 square feet and that feature three to five bedrooms in one or two floors.
Crystal Bay will include a clubhouse, pool and a host of other amenities, including bocce and pickleball courts. As “America’s Smart Home,” D.R. Horton homes are outfitted with an industry-leading suite of smart home products that keep homeowners connected with the people and place they value most.
“You are always connected to your home, whether you are sitting on your couch or thousands of miles away,” said D.R. Horton IT director Austin Juarez.
Parade Showroom Refined Interiors offers a one-stop shop for all home design needs with its newly redesigned 6,000-square-foot showroom in Suntree/Viera.
The company sells and installs a wide scope of products, from flooring, cabinetry and stone countertops to backsplashes, decorative hardware, closet systems, LED bathroom mirrors, and even kitchen appliances. The end goal was to have one place for clients to go to when remodeling their existing space or building and designing a new one.
The Parade of Homes is possible through the support of sponsors in the industry. The Signature Sponsor this year is US Bank.
“As established members of our community, my team feels it is important to help support our valued builder partners in any way we are able,” said Scott Cronenberg, retail mortgage branch manager for US Bank.
“By stepping up as the lead sponsor again this year, we are able to help showcase our community’s best, most talented builders.”
Additional sponsors include:
■ Realtor Sponsor: The Ross Group, brokered by Denovo Realty
■ Awards Sponsor: Florida City Gas
■ Toast Sponsor: Regions Bank
■ Dinner Sponsors: Atlantic Tile, Capritta Appliance & Air Conditioning, Island Tile & Marble, Truist
■ Luxury Car Sponsor: Mercedes of Melbourne
■ Media Sponsors: Christopher Alan Homes, Halco Inc, Payne Point Media, The Viera Company
■ Hors D’oeuvres Sponsors: MG Interiors, Gulf Western Roofing, Milwaukee Tools, Peay’s Electric
Megan Ross with the Ross Group explains why her company chose to again be the official Realtor Sponsor for the event.
“The Parade of Homes is an excellent way for local builders to showcase their homes and communities to the general public who otherwise might not be aware of their options when looking to build,” she said.
“It also gives Realtors a chance to preview homes and communities to stay knowledgeable within their market. In a world so focused on technology and digital marketing, the Parade of Homes is a way for builders to highlight what makes them different by utilizing that in-person special touch.”
The self-guided tour is a cinch to navigate, thanks to QR codes noted in the Parade magazine available digitally. With a smartphone, attendees can scan the location of the entries and obtain driving directions in a flash.
The Parade of Homes is not only a feast for the homebuyers’ eyes, but it also offers a chance to become acquainted with builders they can trust to make home dreams into reality.
“Prospective buyers can have peace of mind knowing that the builders in our association follow a code of ethics and are committed to providing the highest quality homes,” said Thomas.
Entries in the Parade of Homes are typically open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from noon until 5 p.m. on Sundays during this self-guided tour. However, HBCA recommends calling the specific model home directly to ascertain hours of operation.
