BREVARD COUNTY • BAYSIDE, FLORIDA – The Bayside Bears are set to host the Merritt Island Mustangs in prep football action on Friday.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and Space Coast Daily’s Juan Rodriguez and JC Meyerholz will be on the call.
The Bears will look to defend home field for the second straight week. Bayside is coming off a close 21-14 victory over the Viera Hawks in their last outing.
Bayside’s defense dominated, racking up seven sacks and totaling 46 tackles, 14 of those were for a loss of yards.
Merritt Island, on the other hand, is on a two-game win streak and is set for its third away game in three weeks.
The Mustangs are coming off a 46-35 win over Eustis last week.
