new project bridges the gap from temporary housing to permanent housing

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Space Coast Recovery is set to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce for the Transitional Recovery Residence located at 1138 Peachtree Street on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 4 p.m.
Transitional Recovery Residence housing bridges the gap from temporary housing to permanent housing.
The facility at 1138 Peachtree Street will serve as five-bedroom, three-bathroom housing for clients who have successfully graduated from Space Coast Recovery’s drug and alcohol addiction treatment program.
Transitional Recovery Residence housing can be an effective resource to end homelessness, and relapse, and assist with recovery.
Transitional Recovery Residence housing is structured to include alcohol and drug-free environment for individuals attempting to abstain from alcohol and drugs.
Research indicates that most individuals who receive and remain in a treatment environment have a greater chance of success in remaining clean and sober from drugs and alcohol.
Space Coast Recovery, Inc. has been at the forefront of drug and alcohol addiction treatment services in Cocoa, since 1969 and was formerly Community Treatment Center.
