Eastern Florida State College Volleyball Player Sofia Kamke Named Region 8 Player of the Week

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball player Sofia Kamke had her best match of the season and is the Region 8 Player of the Week for the week ending October 30.

Kamke helped the Titans defeat Hillsborough Community College in four sets to finish the regular season 17-7.

The freshman from Brazil had 18 kills and 22 digs in the win to finish the regular season with a team-leading 225 kills and 193 digs.

Kamke is the fourth Eastern Florida State College player to be named player of the week this season.

Eastern Florida State College is hosting the FCSAA/NJCAA Division I Southeast District Tournament Friday at noon at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.
