Fran Cosmo, Former Lead Singer of BOSTON, to Perform Concert Tonight at Space Coast State Fair in Viera

$30 tickets include fair and concert admission, unlimited rides and all the shows inside the fair

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Do you love all the great songs from the band Boston? A little bit of Boston is coming to the Space Coast this fall.

Fran Cosmo, former singer of the famous classic rock band Boston and his band, will bring all those great Boston hits to the Space Coast State Fair on Saturday, November 18, at 8 p.m. Fair gates open from 1 p.m. until midnight.

Tickets to the concert are just $30 and include fair admission, unlimited rides on the state fair midway, and all the other shows inside the fair: The Monster Truck Show, The Wolves of The World Show, Chain Saw Art Shows, Spooky Halloween Theater Shows by Queen B Entertainment, Weeweewee Racing Pig Shows, The Amazing Plant Guy, The Parakeet Encounter, Petting Zoos and much more.

Fairgoers are sure to have a blast at this concert event, along with all the fun of the big one – The 36th annual Space Coast State Fair – Brevard County’s most popular event of the year at the beautiful Space Coast Daily Park in picturesque Viera, Florida.

VIP concert tickets are just $49 and include all of the above plus preferred concert viewing from a comfortable seat in front of the covered stage.

Full bar service will be available, as well as all of the great food at the fair -from over 20 fair food stands.

Cosmo was first featured on guitarist Barry Goudreau’s self-titled solo album in 1980, a prelude to the formation of Orion the Hunter in 1983. Orion the Hunter released an album in 1984 on Columbia Records, which yielded the hit single “So You Ran”. The band opened for Aerosmith in 1984.

In 1994, Cosmo was featured as the sole lead vocalist on the platinum Boston album Walk On, which reached #7 on the Billboard Charts and produced three hit singles, including “I Need Your Love”, which climbed to #4 on the Mainstream Rock Chart, and “Walk On” which reached #14.

Upon Brad Delp’s return to Boston for the concert tour (Delp never missed a Boston tour prior to his death in 2007), the two shared vocals in concert, where Delp said Cosmo covered “the really tough high parts.”

In 1997, Cosmo was again featured on two of the songs on Boston’s ‘Greatest Hits’ album and took an even larger role in the 2002 album Corporate America, with the addition of co-production to his credits as a vocalist. He sang lead vocals on five of the album’s songs and played guitar on one track as well.

Cosmo performed in Boston tours from 1994 to 2004 and currently performs in the band Cosmo with his son, Anton Cosmo.

He also sings in the World Classic Rockers. Cosmo released his first album with his band in 2006, titled Alien.
