Eastern Florida State Women’s Basketball Player L’or Eyeba Mputu Named Region 8 Player of Week

Mputu averaging 12.6 pts and 7.5 reb this season

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball player L’or Eyeba Mputu was named the NJCAA Region 8 Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Mputu helped the Titans to a 2-0 record with a couple of big performances.

On Wednesday night the sophomore forward scored 23 points and nine rebounds and then had 32 points in 18 minutes, missing just two shots from the floor on Saturday.

Mputu is averaging 12.6 points and 7.5 rebounds this season.

Eastern Florida State College will be on the road this week, traveling to St. Petersburg College for a battle for first place in the conference on Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m.

Then on Saturday the Titans play at Florida State College at Jacksonville at 2 p.m.
