Eastern Florida State College Women’s Basketball Ranked No. 2 in Latest NJCAA Division I Poll

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team finishes the regular season ranked second in the final NJCAA Division I National poll released on Monday.

The Titans, who have won 12 games in a row, have been ranked No. 2 in the national poll for the past five weeks and finish the regular season 28-1.

They have been ranked in the top six in the nation for 11 straight weeks.

Earlier on Monday the women’s basketball program finished the season No. 1 in the NJCAA Region 8 poll after finishing the Central Conference 12-0.

The women’s team has been on top of the Region 8 poll for the past three weeks.

Eastern Florida State College will head to the Region VIII Tournament beginning March 8 in Niceville.

The Titans will find out when they play and who they will face in the first round of the state tournament on Thursday.
