BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Prototype Lab at Groundswell Startups is now open for business after a year in the making and brings a new set of capabilities to the Space Coast.

“The addition of state-of-the-art additive manufacturing equipment, combined with our proven strategies and expertise for bringing hardware products to market, makes this lab, and Groundswell Startups, uniquely situated to be a leading model for ecosystems around the country on how to enable, launch, and scale new technologies,” said Jarin Eisenberg, Groundswell Startups CEO.

“In the short time we’ve opened the Lab, we’ve already seen the impact – the ability to quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively prototype parts is a catalyst for new companies, jobs, and making sure that talent does not have to leave the Space Coast to bring their ideas to life.

“We are speeding up the development timeline for companies to bring products to market and provide tools for manufacturers that want to explore additive manufacturing as an alternative to traditional means. This creates additional opportunities for product design firms, online marketers, software engineers, the business ecosystem and many more. We are a hub for economic development,” said Eisenberg.

Groundswell Startups invites the public to join them on Thursday, May 18  at 4 p.m. in partnership with the Space Coast Economic Development Commission, Cypress Bank, and Trust and TSS Solutions for a ribbon cutting for The Prototype Lab at Groundswell Startups.
