Rep. Randy Fine’s State Senatorial Campaign Raises $300,000 During its First Month, Candidate for Brevard’s Open District 19 Seat

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard State Representative Randy Fine’s campaign announced on Friday that it has raised almost $300,000 in his first month as a candidate for the open Senate seat in Brevard’s District 19.
Earlier this month, about 300 supporters attended a fund-raising event at the Brevard Zoo, which raised over $250,000 for Fine’s campaign.
Once March pre-session contributions are reported, Fine will have almost $1 million in cash on hand between his campaign and political committee, Friends of Randy Fine.
“I am overwhelmed by the historic level of support I received in the first full month of my race for the Florida Senate,” said Fine.
“From our extraordinary kickoff fundraiser enthusiastically hosted by the Brevard Zoo to the historic level of support from so many donors, it’s clear to me that #ItsGoingToBeFine.”
In addition to his campaign support, Fine has been endorsed by the new conservative Brevard School Board majority, including Chairman Matt Susin and members Megan Wright and Gene Trent, Brevard State Representative Thad Altman, Brevard/Volusia Representative Chase Tramont, and Volusia Representative Webster Barnaby as well as Former Republican Party of Florida Chairman and Senator Joe Gruters, and former Senate President from Brevard Mike Haridopolos.
The International Union of Police Associations and Florida Family Action have also given early endorsements. More will be rolled out shortly.
Fine currently serves as the Chairman of the House Health & Human Services Committee, where he oversees all aspects of health care and welfare reform in Florida.
Previously, he served as Chairman of the House PreK-12 Appropriations Subcommittee, where he sponsored the largest School Choice expansion in American history, and as Chairman of the House Higher Education Appropriations Subcommittee, where he redesigned the process of capital funding for state universities.
He also served as the Chairman of the House Select Committee on Gaming. In his time in the legislature.
“Fine has passed over two dozen pieces of legislation, including the bill holding Disney accountable for its wokeists attacks on Florida’s parents,” said a campaign spokesperson in a press release.
