BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The State filed a Notice of Intent to Seek the Death Penalty for 36-year-old Domenico Gigante for each of the First-Degree Premeditated Murders of 63-year-old Glenda Terwilliger, 35-year-old Constance Terwilliger, 15-year-old Kiarra Terwilliger and 36-year-old Michael Watson on March 1, 2023.

Gigante became eligible for the death penalty after being indicted by a Brevard Grand Jury on March 29, 2023, on four counts of First-Degree Premeditated murder.

Gigante was arrested by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office after investigators identified him as the person who had broken into a home at 4075 Alan Shepard Avenue and shot the four victims.

Kiarra Terwilliger was identified as Gigante’s biological daughter, along with her mother Constance Terwilliger, and her Grandmother Glenda Terwilliger.

Michael Watson also resided in the home and was identified as the father of two children found unharmed by deputies.

In their notice, prosecutors said the murders were “committed in a cold, calculated, and premeditated manner without any pretense of moral or legal justification.” They also cited provisions indicating that Gigante “stood in a position of familial or custodial authority over the victim” as to the murder of Kiarra Terwilliger.

Gigante will remain in custody with No Bond at the Brevard County Jail.

The case is currently set for Docket Review before Circuit Judge Tesha Scolaro Ballou, May 26, 2023, at 9 a.m., at the Historic Titusville Courthouse.
