BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – In early June, the Titusville Police Department received a call from a woman who lives in Titusville who was upset about an unknown man she had met online.

The Titusville resident had built a rapport with him online, but he eventually began disseminating pictures that included lude acts with children.

This case was immediately assigned to Titusville Detectives with the utmost priority as it involved children.

The challenge Detectives immediately faced was much of the information that had gone back and forth between our caller and the unknown man had been auto deleted by social media sites or manually deleted due to the illegal content.

“Detective Bryan Deal was particularly tenacious on this investigation, and because of his determination and effort, an arrest was made in this disturbing crime,” said Major Josh Little, who oversees the Investigation Division.

Eventually, Titusville Detectives were able to obtain necessary unique identifiers from the suspect’s cell phone and computer which ultimately led to a suspect name and address in Delhi Township Ohio.

Detectives supplied all the information they had to police in Ohio and the suspect was then positively identified and an arrest was made.

Jahre Jemison, 21 was charged with five counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor by police in Ohio.

Evidence seized after a search warrant was served at his home will help investigators in that jurisdiction identify victims in this case.
