Eastern Florida State College Women’s Volleyball Program Releases 2023 Schedule

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball team has released the fall schedule for the 2023 season.

The Titans, who are coming off a 19-win season in which they finished third in the state tournament, will have 23 matches this season with 10 of them at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.

The women’s volleyball team will open the regular season at home on Aug. 18 against St. Petersburg College at 6 p.m. and will be the first of eight matches in August.

The team will travel to Arizona Aug. 25-26 to compete at the Arizona Western Tournament, facing two teams that made the NJCAA Division I National Tournament.

The Titans will play Salt Lake Community College and Eastern Arizona College who met in the first round of the national tournament last season. They will also play the College of Southern Nevada and Arizona Western College in Arizona.

They return to Florida to host the Florida State College at Jacksonville on Aug. 29.

The Titans will open the Citrus Conference season on Sept. 6, hosting Polk State College at 6 p.m. They will play 14 conference matches including matches against the defending national champion Florida Southwestern and the national tournament runner-up Miami Dade College.

The FCSAA Division I Volleyball Championships will begin on Friday, November 3 at Florida Southwestern State College.

“We are very excited for the new season, we have an experienced group returning and have high expectations,” Eastern Florida State College volleyball coach Melito Eleutiza said.

“It is a very tough schedule and that was done on purpose because we know we have to play good teams to be ready for the conference season against some of the top teams in the country. We are excited and ready for the challenge.”
