Space Perspective, First Carbon-Neutral Space Travel Experience Company, to Open Space Balloon Manufacturing Facility in Titusville

Company to Host Ribbon Cutting Event Aug. 22 at Space Perspective’s Exploration Spaceport Headquarters

Space Perspective, the world’s first carbon-neutral spaceflight experience company, will celebrate the opening of its Seeley SpaceBalloon Factory on Tuesday, August 22, at 11 a.m. at the company’s Exploration Spaceport headquarters in Titusville. 

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Space Perspective, the world’s first carbon-neutral spaceflight experience company, will celebrate the opening of its Seeley SpaceBalloon Factory on Tuesday, August 22, at 11 a.m. at the company’s Exploration Spaceport headquarters in Titusville. 

“Seely” manufacturing facility is a 700ft, most advanced facility of its kind that will build the SpaceBalloons™ for Space Perspective’s Spaceship Neptune – the most accessible, sustainable, and safest spacecraft on or above planet earth.

The massive state-of-the-art facility will manufacture Space Perspective’s Space Balloons. Space Perspective has reimagined space travel with Spaceship Neptune, which features a pressurized capsule propelled gently by a SpaceBalloon and takes explorers on a six-hour journey for the quintessential astronaut experience of seeing earth from the blackness of space.

Company Founders and Co-CEOs and Space Perspective’s elite SpaceBalloon manufacturing team will be joined by local elected officials, and space industry leaders to cut the ribbon on the new facility.

The event will take place inside the facility with video and still photography allowed.

Spaceship Neptune was developed to be the most accessible, most sustainable, and safest spacecraft on or above planet earth. It comprises the SpaceBalloon, Reserve Descent System, and Spaceship Neptune capsule. Unlike all other spacecraft, whereby the crewed compartment separates from one flight system mid-flight and transfers to another flight system, Spaceship Neptune’s capsule remains secured to the SpaceBalloon the entire flight from liftoff to splashdown, creating a seamlessly safe and gentle flight.
