BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police Department officials introduced Project 129 in honor of the late Chief Jim Rogers who held badge number 129.

“Chief Rogers set the foundation of what we are trying to build on with our department’s wellness program,” said Palm Bay Police Chief Mario Augello.

“This fitness center allows members of our agency, both sworn and civilian, the opportunity to come in on their off time or during their break to work out and relieve stress which in turn helps their mental health,” Funded through seizures and forfeitures, this new equipment is another tool to ensure Palm Bay Police members are able to take care of their overall health and wellness.”
