Eastern Florida State Men’s Basketball Team to Play in FSW Classic in Fort Myers

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team will head to Fort Myers to compete in the FSW Classic this week.

The No. 20-ranked Titans will open Thursday evening against No. 4 Salt Lake Community College at 5 p.m. at Suncoast Credit Union Arena at Florida Southwestern.

Eastern Florida State College is 5-0 this season and is led by sophomore Matija Zuzic who is fifth in Region 8 averaging 17.8 points per game.

Teammate Owen Aquino is averaging 15.8 points and eight rebounds while Luca Colceag is averaging 14 points and nine rebounds per game. Overall, five players are averaging at least 10 points per game as the Titans are averaging 96 points per game.

Salt Lake Community College (5-0) is averaging 97 points per game and is led by Jordan Battle who is averaging 19 points per game while teammate CJ Luster is averaging 16.

On Friday the Titans will be back on the court at 5 p.m. against Central Georgia Tech. Central Georgia Tech comes into the classic 1-3 on the season and is led by Emmanuel Jones who is scoring 20 points per game this season.

Eastern Florida State College will be back at Titan Field House on Monday night against Daytona Elite Academy. Game time is 6 p.m. and admission is free.
