Five Eastern Florida State Men’s Basketball Players Named to All-Conference Team

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team had five players named to the All-Central Conference team.

The Titans had two players make the first team and three others named to the second team.

Sophomore forward Andres Burney was named to the first team with six double-doubles in the 14 conference games, as the Alabama native averaged 18.2 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

Freshman Eric Parnell was also named to the first team after averaging 11.7 points in the 14 conference games, starting 10 of them.

Freshman Jaden Witter-Watts was named to the second team, starting six of the 12 conference games, and scored 6.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game against conference teams.

Freshman Owen Aquino made the second team playing in 12 of the conference games this season and averaged 8.4 rebounds to go with 4.7 points.

Sophomore Brandon Garcia also made the second team. The guard averaged 11.9 points in 11 conference games with 5.5 assists.

Eastern Florida State College will open the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Tournament on Thursday, March 9 as the No. 7 seed, facing No. 2 seed Daytona State College at 2 p.m. in Niceville.
