Merritt Island Mustangs, Viera Hawks Volleyball Set to Play Wednesday in State Semifinals in Winter Haven

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Merritt Island Mustangs and the Viera Hawks Volleyball advanced to the FHSAA Final Four State Semifinals at Polk State College in Winter Haven next Wednesday, November 8.
How They Got Here
The Viera Hawks defeated the Oviedo Lions in the Regional Semifinals. With the win, the Hawks improved to 26-4 on the season and a ticket to their third straight final-four appearance. The Viera Hawks will face Chiles (Tallahassee) at 4 p.m. next Wednesday.
The Merritt Island Mustangs defeated Wesley Chapel 3-2 on Wednesday in the Regional Semifinals.
The victory improved the Mustangs to 23-6 and their 8th final-four appearance under Head Coach Angie Patrick. The Mustangs will take on Middleburg at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
