Eastern Florida State College Students Shine in Aerospace Maintenance Competition in Chicago

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College Aerospace Technology program concluded its weeklong visit to the annual Aerospace Maintenance Competition in Chicago.
There are 26 stations in the competition and EFSC supplied one of them, a simulated satellite fuel loading activity.
Five students coordinated that event and another five competed, placing in the top ten for two events in the college category and in the top third for most. EFSC Aerospace Tech Program Manager Ed Mango called it an “Outstanding experience.
Overall the team did well, learned a lot, and collaborated with some of the best airline and aerospace maintenance folks in the entire country.”
