BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – After a stellar season leading to a First Team All-SSC selection, Katie Hogue earned more recognition as a D2CCA All-South Region Second Team member, announced on Monday.

Starting a third of the games in three positions – first base, third base, and designated player. In her first year at Florida Tech after transferring from the College of Central Florida, Hogue hit the team’s second-best batting average of 0.329, five home runs, and a team-leading 31 RBI.

Hogue’s ten doubles were tied for ninth in the SSC.

At the corners of the diamond, the junior tallied 143 putouts, 39 assists, and a 0.963 fielding percentage.
