BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — The Melbourne Police Department has welcomed seven new officers to its ranks following their graduation from the Eastern Florida State College Police Academy.
In an announcement shared this week, the department recognized the graduates of Class 25, who recently completed 22 weeks of intensive law enforcement training.
The program is designed to prepare recruits for the demands of policing through a combination of classroom instruction, physical conditioning, and scenario-based exercises focused on real-world situations.
