Florida Tech Panthers Defender Ricky Fedorchak Named Division II All-American by USILA

Fedorchak's 46 ground balls ranked 10th most in the SSC
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech Panthers Graduate defender Ricky Fedorchak continues to rack in the post-season honors after being named a 2024 Division II All-American by the USILA.
Fedorchak was recognized as an All-American Honorable Mention.
This marks the second All-American award for Fedorchak having been named an All-American Honorable Mention from USA Lacrosse on Wednesday, May 15th.
Hailing from West Friendship, Md., Fedorchak earned USILA All-South Region Second Team honors while also being selected as a First Team All-Sunshine State Conference (SSC) honoree.
In every game for the Panthers, Fedorchak recorded 50 caused turnovers, posting an average of 3.33 caused turnovers per game, tied for the seventh-highest caused turnovers per game average across all three NCAA Divisions this season. His 50 caused turnovers ranked first in the SSC, breaking a team single-season program record.
Against Embry-Riddle on April 6th, Fedorchak’s eight caused turnovers tied the single-game caused turnover record for both Florida Tech and the SSC.
Fedorchak’s 46 ground balls also ranked as the 10th most in the SSC while also recording the 12th-highest ground balls per game average of 3.07.
