BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Former Eastern Florida State College men’s soccer player Danilo Orsi helped Crawley Town FC make history at Wembley Stadium last weekend.

Orsi and Crawley Town defeated Crewe Alexandra 2-0 at historic Wembley Stadium to earn a promotion to the English Football League One, known as Sky Bet League One.

It is the third highest division of the English Football League behind Premier League and Championship.

The forward has scored 23 goals this season for Crawley Town and opened the scoring in the 41st minute of the contest on May 19.

Orsi was with the Titans for two seasons, scoring 14 goals in 2016-17 and then 20 goals in 2017-18. Orsi was the Region 8 Player of the Year in 2017-18 and was a United Soccer Association first team All-American. His 20 goal-season is still a program record and his 34 career goals is the most by a Titan.

It was not only the first time that Orsi and Crawley Town played at Wembley, the club also broke the record for the biggest aggregate win in EFL Playoff history.
