For nearly 50 years, Crosswinds has been a safety net for young people and families in Brevard County, Florida, who have nowhere else to turn.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The 26th Annual Great Brevard Duck Race took place Saturday with a virtual event on Space Coast Daily TV as thousands of yellow rubber duckies decked out with ultra-cool sunglasses once again.

Over 3,500 ducks were sold for one of the great traditional charity events in Brevard County.

Ducks raced to the finish line to win great prizes for their “adopters,” including the Grand Prize – a beautiful single diamond pendant and earring set.

The Great Brevard Duck Race is the major fundraising event for Crosswinds Youth Services and adopting ducks changes lives.

All proceeds from the event help support Crosswinds’ provide shelter, food, emergency services, counseling, and other support to our community’s most vulnerable children in need, especially during times like these.

Crosswinds was able to touch the lives of over 3,000 children, youth, and families for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
