Florida Custom Aquatic Services recently installed a beautiful custom Aquascape fountain feature, and the inspiration for the design came from another certified Aquascape contractor in Arizona, Ralph Biezad.

“Ralph was the Aquascape Artist of the Year in 2022 and we took his design and added the Florida Custom Aquatic flare,” said Brad Fontaine, the founder and Operations Manager of Florida Custom Aquatic Services.

“We used a 400-gallon underground basin with two curved stacked slate walls and a small stacked slate sphere. We created dueling waterfalls that wrap around the sphere on both sides.”

Two Aquasurge 4,000-8,000 pumps were used to power all aspects of this feature, along with a custom plumbing manifold for ultimate adjustability. Lights were installed in every water outlet of the feature, as well as two spotlights.

The feature also includes a fire element that burns at the top of the stacked slate sphere.

Fontaine has a great understanding of aquatic ecosystems and pond dynamics.
