Florida Tech Women’s Soccer Tabbed No. 3 in Nation by United Soccer Coaches in Preseason Poll

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Florida Tech women’s soccer team was ranked the No. 3 team in the nation, as announced by the United Soccer Coaches.
The Panthers are coming off a historic postseason run in 2023, reaching the NCAA Final Four for just the second time in program history.
The team finished the season with a 17-3-3 overall record, including an 8-1-1 record in the Sunshine State Conference (SSC), was named SSC regular season champions, and earned the program’s third NCAA South Region Championship.
This is the first time that the Panthers will enter a season ranked as one of the top three teams in the nation.
Tech opens the 2024 season at home against Tiffin on Saturday, Sept. 7. Opening kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Rick Stottler Field in Melbourne, Fla.
