BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The City of Cocoa will celebrate the grand re-opening of the newly renovated Provost Park with a special ceremony on October 1 at 4 p.m. prior to the kick-off of the annual National Night Out Event.

This marks the culmination of a transformative project aimed at revitalizing one of Cocoa’s most historic recreational spaces.

After months of planning and construction, Provost Park now features several exciting upgrades designed to enhance the park’s functionality, accessibility, and appeal for residents of all ages.

Highlights of the renovation include a newly constructed multi-purpose field, two basketball courts, two pickleball courts, brand-new fencing and irrigation, a new parking lot, a scoreboard, and upgraded field lighting.

These improvements ensure that Provost Park will continue to serve as a hub of community engagement and recreation for generations to come.

“The reopening of Provost Park is a testament to our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all Cocoa residents,” said Cocoa Mayor, Michael C. Blake.

“This park has long been a gathering place for our community, and we are proud to unveil the upgrades that will make it an even better space for families, athletes, and friends to enjoy.”
